Luc Forsyth is a director and cinematographer specializing in cinematic documentary storytelling.
With nearly 15 years of international experience across five continents, Luc works on everything that involves visual storytelling including high-end documentaries, narrative films, branded content, and commercials, but is perhaps best known for his naturalistic cinematography and a story-driven directing style grounded in his cinema vérité roots.
Luc’s video and stills clients The New York Times, The National Geographic Channel, Netflix, Channel 4, ShowTime, HBO, ESPN, VICE, MTV, and many others. Luc has also partnered extensively with non-profit organizations such as Handicap International, The United Nations Population Fund, CARE International, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and The Gapminder Foundation. Commercial clients include Cadillac, Marie Claire, Jaguar, Tourism Vancouver, and Tentree Apparel.
